GVV’s Annual Sports Day celebration is a special event that is held once a year to promote physical activity and sportsmanship among students. The celebration usually involves inaugural ceremony, a variety of sports and games, such as track and field events, relay races, and team games like cricket, volley-ball, kho-kho, kabaddi etc. Students are divided into teams & houses, each with its own color and mascot, to compete against one another. The event also includes a parade of athletes, where students march around the sports field dressed in their team colors. Guest of Honour, parents, teachers, and other members of the school community are often invited to attend and cheer on the students. The annual sports day celebration is an important part of the school calendar and provides an opportunity for students to showcase their athletic abilities and learn important values like teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance.
